The Power Mister Mosquito Misting System recommends the use of an EPA registered pyrethrum-based mosquito misting formula and a 100% organic proprietary product. Pyrethrum is a biodegradable, water-based concentrate, derived from chrysanthemum flowers. The solution leaves no oily buildup, lasts for short period of time in the environment, and is effective when used as directed virtually eliminating the number of biting insects in your outdoor space. Power Mister’s proprietary product is a deodorizer, cleanser and an emulsifier which is environmentally friendly, biodegradable and contains no synthetic chemicals, petroleum distillates or detergents.

The System
The Power Mister Mosquito Misting System breaks the insects’ breeding cycle by killing mature mosquitoes and prevents them from laying their eggs. Precision misting nozzles connected by nylon tubing are installed around the perimeter of your yard, or any designated area. The nozzles are usually installed on the outer eves of your home, along fence lines and throughout the landscape area blending seamlessly into the landscape. This type of mosquito misting installation is virtually impossible to see allowing you to enjoy the full beauty of your home. The mosquito misting solution is applied automatically at predetermined intervals. This extremely fine mist created by the nozzles becomes the protective zone which controls mosquitoes and other insects.
